hpv homeopathy

Postby violet » Fri Jun 05, 2009 10:38 pm

hi everyone - here is the first post to what I hope to be a great resource for homeopathic hpv treatments- I came across this site totally by accident but I am so glad I did. I have been dealing with genital warts for over a year, and finally have them under control. I initially used Aldera for my treatment - and during the course of my Aldera treatment my warts increased from 2 to over 200 warts. While they weren't painful they were extremely embarrassing and were on my mind quite a bit. I was really confused as to what exactly was going on- I was using the treatment properly but my warts were still increasing in number. I'm not going to write a book right now- but I just want to let everyone know that if Aldera isn't working for you, don't be frustrated!! I will go through my journals and come back with what I did during that time (was over a year ago- now I am wart free:) ) to offer some advice for those of you that might be experiencing the same problems- very simple lifestyle changes will help boost your immune system- and since it worked for me I hope it will work for others too. I will stop there for my first post- hope to see some others on here soon!

I've heard of this through a friends relative who tried this kind of therapy for an non STD related illness. As far as I know, it's of german origin or something like that, and this friend took the medication in forms of tinctures dropped under the tongue every few hours and it apparently boosts the immune system. What I didn't know was that it can also be used to treat STD's. How effective is it? Violet, Im curioius if you are still doing this treatment at this very moment to prevent the warts from coming back.

My form of homeopathic treatment was really a series of lifestyle changes. What I did may not be as effective for everyone- but it will help other areas of your life by simply making you healthier! Here is a list of things that I have implicated into my daily routine- whether or not it is why my warts went away I will never know- but they are gone, have been for 5 months.

-Stopped smoking: smoking takes a huge toll on your immune system, and if you are a smoker and have genital warts, it will be much more difficult to make them go away. I also try to minimize my exposure to cigarettes- I don't let my friends smoke in my car anymore.

-Maximize vitamin C, E, intake/ diet alterations: Aside from taking a supplement with breakfast in the morning, munching on things like fresh oranges and grapefruit instead of junk food during the day. I snack almost exclusively on raw, fresh fruits and vegetables. I also use LOADS of garlic in my cooking.

***Here are some foods that are rich in Vitamin C: citrus fruits and juices (100% juices- no added sugars!), red peppers, peaches, strawberries, broccoli ( broccoli stalks are AWESOME when you chop them up in salads- also cooked in stir fry ---who knew?)***

-Things I cut out of my diet: Fast food, soda, excess/ unnecessary sugar (no artificial sugar), & excess fat

-Exercise! Major!!! I don't think any changes would make a difference without this- at least 30 min/day even if it is just a quick run or bike ride.

-I try to sleep at least 7 hours each night- 8 can be unrealistic at times so I just shoot for 7. If you are one of those people that rides on the bare minimum each day, you would be doing your body a huge favor to try and budget a couple of extra hours. Your immune system function actually depends quite heavily on the amount of sleep you get.

-I used to be kind of a wino- for a long time I poured myself a glass of wine every night when I got home from work. When I cut this out of my routine it made a substantial difference for me. I have more energy, I am sure that my liver is happier, and I also save a lot of money!

-I try to manage my stress better- it can be very difficult when you have a lot going on, but it is so good to take time to yourself each day- especially before you go to bed. I try to spend a few minutes before I fall asleep taking my mind off of the stresses of the day by reading a good book.

Lifestyle changes are easier to accomplish when they are approached slowly. My advice to you is not to frustrate yourself with trying to be a new person by next week!. If there are a lot of things that you want to change, pick ONE thing- and start right away (not tomorrow!). For me, in addition to not having HPV symptoms for several months, these changes have helped me to feel SO much healthier and happier! Good luck!

Violet,

Thanks so much for sharing your views on the subject. I can only stress as well the importance of natural healing when it comes to genital warts. Your immune system should really be your first battle in terms of getting your health together and pushing forward from there.

I look forward to hearing more from you, glad to have you around!

That definitely requires a huge lifestyle change, I think if anyone can successfully accomplish this change, then they don't only have to worry about recurring warts but generally a much better state of well-being. I do agree that sleep definitely plays a major factor in keeping the immune system in check. I experienced that I got sick a lot more often when I lacked a significant amount of sleep. So, violet, would you say that homeopathic treatment would not be effective at all without these changes?

Violet, what do think? should one opt to get treated with creams first and see if they work or do u think one should try this homeopathic treatment right away. after reading your story, it sounds like a much healthier approach to the problem. where can one get this kind of service? I have not heard of homeopathic doctors before.
